The Backbone of Mid States Transmission Parts – Our “Pit Crew”

Lorraine Lynch

Lorraine Lynch

President

Gary and I were married for 40 years. He was the brains and I was the beauty behind Mid States...okay, I was a supporter. I worked 24 years for John Deere Insurance (JDI) until they sold the insurance division to Sentry Insurance. While working at JDI we started Mid States Transmission Parts (MSTP). Thank goodness I was working because all earnings from MSTP went back into the business for two years. We were excited the third year, Gary started drawing a salary...$100 a week. This went on for two more years. We did not have children to worry about and knew we could live off of love...okay, okay, less food. We have been the proud owners of many Golden Retrievers. Gary is greatly missed both at MSTP and home. I was very fortunate to have him in my life and miss him more each day.
